Prato, like most cities in Tuscany, is surrounded by hills and mountains. Hiking along the trails of the Calvana mountains during the winter months, you often encounter hunters, livestock farmers, and mushroom, chestnut, and asparagus hunters, all clad in indestructible, brightly colored wool jackets. The Hunter "Calvana" is our tribute to these wonderful mountains of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines, steeped in history and tradition, and to the people who inhabit them.
To create it, we took inspiration from the finest hunting jackets from the 1940s and 1950s in our archive. This version was made in Veneto in just ten examples using deadstock red wool. It features a HBT cotton lining, snap buttons, and a large back pocket.
